12 Composers, 1 Collection

12 composers joined Diversify the Stand for our first solo book entitled “Winds of Change”. Commissioned for this project, each composer gives the performer an opportunity to explore their musical voice in this progressive trumpet solo collection. This book provides accessible educational pieces by living composers for players of all skill levels. These works are appropriate for players in their first few years of study and moves progressively for more advanced players.

Originally written for trumpet, we have worked with all 12 composers and many play-testers to reimagine the solos for trombone, horn, euphonium, and tuba!

These solos are ideal for performance in any setting including school solo & ensembles, contests, competitions, recitals, and more!
